Kurt C. Rolf, DDS, MAGD, ABGD click for explanations

Dr. Kurt Rolf, a native of Massapequa, New York, graduated from Lehigh University in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania in 1976 with a B.A. in Biology, then went on to Georgetown University School of Dentistry to earn his Doctorate in Dental Surgery in 1980. Upon completion of dental school, Dr. Rolf joined the United States Navy where he had a distinguished 20 year career. His career in the Navy had many facets that included providing dentistry on ships such as the hospital ship USNS Comfort, supervising clinics, and teaching. During this same time, Dr. Rolf completed a two year post-doctorate residency in comprehensive dentistry. He has been stationed around the world from Japan to Italy and finally at the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland. In Bethesda, he was program director for the residency program and retired with the rank of Captain in 2000. Dr. Rolf and his wife Joan now reside in Potomac, Maryland with their three sons, Ryan, Brett, and Jordan. He is very active in their sports programs which include lacrosse, basketball, soccer and baseball.

Throughout his career, Dr. Rolf has received numerous academic honors and credentials including board certification by the American Board of General Dentistry (ABGD), and the Federal Services Board of General Dentistry (FSBGD). He has earned the prestigious Master of Academy of General Dentistry (MAGD), an accomplishment earned by less than 1500 general dentists nationwide. In 1998 he received a "Fellowship" from the Academy of Dentistry International (ADI), a worldwide dental organization recognizing his work in promoting dentistry and dental education around the world. He is currently a member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, and the Northern Virginia Dental Association. Dr. Rolf offers comprehensive dental treatments that include restorative, implant, and cosmetic dentistry.
